The Katamama Hotel, a new 60 room boutique hotel, located immediately across from Potato Head Beach Club, has an opportunity for an established Director of Sales

Job Description
  • Overall responsibility is to maximize revenue opportunities for achievement of all budgeted hotel's revenue streams area through the use of industry role.
  • Strong leadership, pricing analytical skills, knowledge of local and international market intelligence, forecasting and revenue management strategy experience.
  • Establish excellent working relationships across all channels; secure business from all channels while proactively creating new business development opportunities.
  • Forward thinking strategic development and implementation of Sales & Marketing processes through critical thinking ensuring strategies are consistent with the dynamic needs and goals of the property both in the short and long-term to drive profitable business results.


Skills
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or equivalent degree/experience
At least 7 years of experience in Sales & Marketing fields
Team-oriented and able to work cross-departmentally to build and maintain effective teams.
Excellent understanding of standard business practices related to Sales Operations, processes and systems (sales cycle, training, reporting, forecasting, territory management and sales quotas)
Strong analytics and quantitative skills: ability to determine trends and propose solutions.
Professional, credible and detail orientated with a sense of urgency
Competent and comfortable with technology
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Consistently exceed goals and commitments made to the company and team. Must be motivated, adaptable, flexible, and able to produce quality in an evolving, fast paced environment
Self-starter, strong personal and work ethics. Willing to take the lead in driving initiatives working across organizations and apply creative problem solving in a rapidly competitive sales environment.
