Chief Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the efficient and economic operation of the Engineering Department to provide support to all the other departments.

•         To provide service as required and to maintain equipment, building and grounds in excellent condition.

Financial:

•         Responsible for the cost-effective operation of the Engineering Department.

•         Prepare the annual and revised Engineering budget with the cooperation of the financial controller and management.

•         Keep accurate records and closely monitor Engineering budget expenditures.

•         Ensure that the budget is a adhered to and costs are strictly controlled.

•         Allocate and countersign invoice charges to the Engineering budget before they are processed.

•         Establish an efficient system to control and verity fuel deliveries to the premises.

Operational:

•         Supervise Engineering Personnel in the performance of their duties.

•         Delegate duties and responsible to the Assistant Chief Engineer.

•         Prepare the daily work program for all Engineering Staff.

•         Supervise subordinates to maximize their performance.

•         Regularly inspect the equipment to insure that they are functioning well.

•         Report all defective equipment to the supervisor.

•         Control the efficient consumption of materials.

•         Prepare requirements for materials required by subordinates and control the issuance and consumption of such materials.

•         Perform other duties as required

   Requirements :

•         Male, age  23 - 35  years old.

•         Min. D3/ Bachelor degree in Engineering

•         Min. 2 years experience as a Chief Engineer

•         Strong communication, Interpersonal and Analytical skills is a must.

•         Fluency in English oral and written.

•         Microsoft skills especially in Word, Excel.

•         Hard worker and able to work under pressure

•         Having knowledge in VHP system
