Detail Job:
|
1. Knows the number and location of all
tables and ensure not to over load any one particular station.
2. Constantly be conscious of smoking and non smoking areas and preferences
of guests.
3. Remembers guests’ names and addresses them accordingly on their return.
4. Must be familiar with the work nature and responsibilities of all servers.
5. Welcomes and greets guests in accordance to hotel standards guidelines.
6. Ensures proper seating of guests with consideration given towards work
load, reservations and preference of guests.
7. Becomes familiar with all activities in the hotel and is able to answer or
obtain the answer to guests’ questions pertaining to these activities.
8. Answers phone queries in a courteous and prompt manner and takes
reservations with given consideration to guests’ preferences.
9. Ensures front of outlet and reservation desk are well maintained.
10. Relates all guests’ comments to manager or Supervisor pertaining to
suggestions and complaints.
11. Assists manager to keep traces on guest history profiles.
12. Gives all guests a friendly “goodbye” or “thank you” as guests depart
outlet.
13. Be familiarized with menu and service procedures.
14. Participates with positive approach towards training and daily briefing.
15. Realizes the importance of team spirit to ensure that fellow employees
are pursuing a unified standard of service.
