Sous Chef

Responsibilities

• Assist Executive Chef in supervising the functions of all kitchen employees, facilities and costs to ensure maximum Food and Beverage Departmental profit is a achieved.
• Supervise Chief Steward to ensure a high level of cleanliness in all the kitchen areas.
• Control and ensure the quality levels of all perishable items received in the hotels.
• Ensure and control the standards of all Restaurant and Room Service menus.
• Ensure optimum performance by the staff by providing clear direction, complete information and assistance to the different sections and by doing a constant follow up on there activities.
• Interact with Engineering and follow up on all pending work required.
• Control and record staff attendance sheets.
• Perform related duties and special projects assigned by Management.
• Ensure optimum performance in all of the above assigned functions.

Requirements :

• Having experiences in four or five stars hotels /resorts min. 1 year
• Having experiences in the similar position min 2 years.
